Tree Top Dining On The Tomoka

When you first walk out on the outside deck at RiverGrille your embraced with the idea of being in a tree house.  Located just north of Granada Blvd on US 1, RiverGrille   deck is one of the most relaxing dining experiences we’ve had in a while.  The view is amazing and the breeze coming off the river was great, along with the help of some strategically placed mist fans offered by the RiverGrille!

Veggie Tangles Anyone?

While my dining companions enjoyed the expansive menu of local fish delicacies,  I indulged in the vegetarian choices, there actually are a few!  But I must say, the blackened fish sandwich sure looked good too.  Though we chose to sit outside and enjoy the view, the inside dining room and adjacent bar had such an eclectic Florida river style decor, it really brought the outside in.  So if you prefer air conditioned dining, you won’t miss much if you chose the inside seating. The prices start at $7.99 and go up to $21.99, the appitizers are awesome and huge, starting at $6.99.  Very reasonable and the food was great!  They also have a Lil River Rats menu also.

Take Time To Feed The Fish

With the boat docks below inviting passing boaters to come on in, it’s fun to take a stroll down to the beautiful dock and river walk and feed the fish or just enjoy the river and surrounding trees.  There is a vending machine distributing fish food right by the stairs, so you don’t have to take your french fries with you.  But make sure you don’t take a swim, this is gator territory so keep an eye out, you just might see one!

See you at the Beach!
