Things to do in Daytona Beach

Daytona Speed Weeks

Daytona Speed Weeks are Gearing Up!

While doDaytona.com likes to highlight locally owned and operated small businesses, we can not ignore one of the greatest tourism draws to our area, The Daytona International Speedway.  Having recently been completely redone to provide the best possible experience for it’s guests, Daytona International Speedway is the host of many major events most recently Country 500 on Memorial Day Weekend.  Featuring such Country Music stars as Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Kid Rock and many, many more, The Country 500 music festival 2016 was an enormous success.  The 2017 festival looks to be even bigger.  So make sure to plan on getting tickets early for the Memorial Day cerebration 2017.

NASCAR Race Fans Welcome

Right now is the time for Nascar to spend time in Daytona Beach.  Starting with the Rolex 24 hour race this weekend along with the BMW endurance challenge, both at the end of January 2017.  Then, of course, in February 2017 Speedweeks begin.  Nascar fans from all over the world come to our Daytona Beach and we are so glad to see them.  Too many events to mention happen during this time, but it all comes down to the last race of Speedweeks, The Daytona 500.

Mom and Pop Stores and Restaurants Welcome You

We love to see the fans venture into the town when they are not at the racetrack.  We encourage all of you to visit small town, locally owned and operated businesses and restaurants.  They appreciate your business.

Have fun at the races and we’ll…

See you at the Beach!
