Smells So Good!!

When we walked into Danielle’s Pizza City in Port Orange, open for lunch and dinner, we were greeted with the mostDanielle's pizza city garlic knots delicious smells!  I immediately had a flash back to my childhood, to a pizzeria my family went to every Friday night.  I loved that smell and haven’t experienced it since, until now, and if the aroma was any indication, we couldn’t wait to taste the food.

Phenomenal Pizza Crust

mickey's famous subsWe were enthusiastically met by one of the owners (Mickey of Mickey Famous Subs) who introduced us to his favorite server Mariah, and recommended the garlic knots.  How could we resist.  After we were served the yummy garlic knots, 12 for $3.95 btw,  we knew where some of that amazing aroma was coming from.  We chose a veggie pizza and we were served a piping hot pizzaDanielle's pizza city veggie pizza with the freshest veggies ever!  I like a thin, but not to thin, crisp, but not hard, crust.  And this crust was perfection! So good!  Mickey said they spare no expense to provide their customers with the freshest, top notch ingredients.  I believe it!

Simple Atmosphere/Great Food

Danielle's pizza city wall muralWith it’s movie themed walls, simple tables, and great food, this is a place you’ll visit time and time again.  Definitely a neighborhood favorite and very family friendly, Danielle’s Pizza City is the perfect place to take the kids, or to order in, because they do deliver.  Located on the corner of Nova Road and US1 in Port Orange, the parking is easy and right in front.  In addition to pizza and subs, they also have traditional pasta dishes, salads and gyros.  Pizza prices start at $12.50, but you can also get a slice starting at $1.60.  They also sell their freshly made pizza dough for $2.00 if you’d like to make your own.  A definite dodaytona recommendation.

See you at the Beach!
