“A Garden Oasis”

Right off busy Granada Blvd. and steps away from the Granada Beach Ramp, Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens offers a peaceful meditation garden with art exhibits that change frequently.  Walking through this tranquil garden it is amazing how close it its to the busyness of beach traffic.  The use of space is equally amazing as you walk through the labyrinth of pathways, it feels as if you are on acres instead of just a few blocks.

Commemorating Veterans

There are several beautiful original sculptures along the pathways of the garden that commemorate the veteransmemorial garden ormond beach 026 that fought in world war I and world war II, as well as the Korean war.  You might want to rest in the gazebo and walk the hand painted meditation labyrinth to the center or stroll over the bridges that cover the water gardens and listen to the giant bamboo trees sway in the wind.

Local Artistry

In addition to the gardens, the museum offers a treat in local artistry.  They also offer art classes and garden talks to children and groups.
