JB’s Fishcamp is located a few miles south of Daytona Beach in New Smyrna Beach. It may be a little cruise away from the World’s Most Famous Beach, but so worth it. JB’s sits on Mesquito Lagoon and is known for it’s great fishing location. So you know the food is fresh! As a matter of fact, they have holding tanks in the back, honest!
Bring your own Boat
Like many Intercoastal Waterway Restaurants, JB’s has boat docking available for it’s diners. But more importantly, they rent KAYAKS!!! I love Kayaking, it’s a great way to relax and see amazing untouched natural Florida while your leisurely coasting down the river. But I digress, Kayak rentals are $15 Hr for a single, and $20Hr for a double. I highly recommend it.
And JB’s has Great Food!
My friends love good seafood, and there was so much to choose on this menu, from Clams to Crab (blue & snow), to Oysters, Rock Shrimp, Fresh Fish, and of course what Florida menu would be complete without… Alligator Bites and more. They also have a kids menu and land lover and vegetarian stuff too. All ranging from $4.95 to $25.00 an entree. Not to bad at all. There is indoor seating, but the outdoor seating is the best, why come to the river if you can’t see it, right!
