The Other Daytona Beach Pier
Located on the Sun Glow Pier in Daytona Beach Shores, Crabby Joe´s Deck and Grill offers great food and fresh fish with a great view of the Daytona Beach shoreline. It’s a very casual (bathing suit friendly), atmosphere with covered and outside seating on the pier and indoor seating if you need to take a break from the sun. There’s also fishing on the end of the pier and Crabby’s has its own bait shack and pole rentals. There is a small admission price for fishing on the pier, Adults $7.00 and children under 12 $3.00, but it´s for all day so well worth it.
Sunrise and Surfer Watching
A great place to sit and have a cup of coffee while watching a spectacular Daytona Beach sunrise since they are open sunrise to 10 pm. That´s also when some very good surfers start their day also, but if you don’t surf, you can feel like you are with the vantage point you have from Crabby Joe’s dining area on the Pier. It’s a great place to grab a bite or a drink while watch all the surfers, boogie boarders, paddle boarders and kayakers and just plain people watching.
Fun Place Morning, Noon and Night
On the weekends they have a build your own omelet station for the breakfast crowd, but come early cause the line gets very long. They also have a full bar and of course an amazing menu for lunch and dinner. For you adventurous types, they have a whale sized Surf and Turf which includes a burger that’s twice the size of your head! If you finish it all, you get a free T-shirt!
